Pigment Blue 36 is an inorganic pigment that is the reaction product of high temperature calcination in which aluminum oxide, chromium (III) oxide, and cobalt (II) oxide in varying amounts are homogeneously and ionically interdiffused to form a crystalline matrix of spinel. Pigment Blue 36 may include modifiers. such as MgO, SiO2, ZnO, or ZrO2.
