Sodium Hexyldiphenyl Ether Sulfonate

Sodium Hexyldiphenyl Ether Sulfonate is the mixture of organic compounds that is a Freidel Crafts reaction product of an olefin and diphenyl oxide. The resulting alkylate is reacted with SO3 to yield the disulfonate which is then neutralized with Sodium Hydroxide.
